New Years Day News Flash: An unfortunate attack occurred the morning of New Years Day 2008 in Southeast Michigan where a suspected attack by the anti-Dunkin Donuts Citizens League occured. Long known for their anti-powdered sugar protests and media campaigns, the group tried a different tactic in the opposite direction with hopes to give fuel to their cause. A fleeing white Cadillac with white-walled tires was spotted leaving the state, where an eye-witness recalled hearing one of the white-suited passengers shouting “You want sugar??!! We will give you sugar!!!”
It is not known where the device that caused the explosion originated from. CSI’s from around the region are speculating the group may have raided the well known donut maker’s warehouse facilities across the country to accumulate enough explosive material. Hundreds of residents were left searching for their white cats and dogs. Joe Smith of Detroit indicates relief in an onsite interview “Boy, I am sure glad we chose to get a black lab!” Meanwhile, the donut chain has issued a statewide shortage notice, and breakfast snack prices have plummeted due to so many people rolling dough balls in the streets. Reports of excessively hyper children are being reported everywhere. It is not known how long the region will take to recover from this disaster. But one things for certain, this will take more than a few napkins to wipe the smile from Detroit.

Mark, Thats great, very original. Two of my favorite things a beautiful snowfall and white powdered sugar donuts. Keep up the good work didn’t know you were such a good writer also.
Good thing thats sugar and not another white powder or you would have a million people walking around with the sniffles, trying to find a nightclub that still plays disco music 🙂
LOL – Mark – now you’ve got what you wanted so desperately!!!!
ROFL! Thanks–I needed that!
That was too funny!
Too funny – and as good an explanation as any.
Sweet! I love a fresh snowfall.
