Beautiful image Mark, isn't it funny how deceiving photography can be sometimes, I have shot of a bunch of daisies that look like they were shot out in the field but were really shot beside a broken down garage in the middle of the city I live in.

Photography is so much fun !!

Very nice entry Mark. The little and sometimes grand unexpected surprises is an absolute blessing in photography. It's something that is always on ones mind when peering through the view finder. I think we are a lucky bunch to have a passion that lets us expose ourselves to the opportunity to experience life's surprises. Thanks for the reminder.

Ah, the floodlight! Although the moon story's very cool, whatever works, y'know? The yellow-green "moon" compliments the purple flower quite well.

Absolutely stunning piece Mark!
Really love those unexpected moments, those elements that sometimes will sneak into the frame and catch you off guard.
Those are fun times!

I still use my LB quite a bit, and it has found a permanent place in my bag or vest.

Hey wren, I haven't got the fox in my header in my own visits! Thanks! :-)

Anita, thanks for the smile. Perhaps I am deeper than I think? ha!

Ron - want to buy mine? Friendly discount.... cuz I think I want the newer one. :-) I thought the same thing - but it can lead to some interesting images.

That is cool Mark!

I haven't purchased a lensbaby. I was afraid that after one day of playing that it would just end up in the bottom of my camera bag, and then eventually relegated to the closet with the rest of my seldom used gear. It seems like you have a lot of fun with yours, maybe I should reconsider.

A delightful story with so many delicious layers and that's not even getting into how beautiful the image is. Like so many of your posts, this one can be taken on at least two or three levels of meaning. I notice that I shouldn't visit unless I have time to do some thinking ”have to be careful of that gravitational pull, after all.
